This jam thermometer's stainless steel casing incorporates a retaining clip and measures 5 x 24 cm plus a 6.5 cm plastic handle. It is extremely versatile, showing temperatures in both celsius and fahrenheit (with a range of 40 to 200°C). It has clear markings that show the ideal temperature for a variety of functions: hard crack, soft crack, hard ball, soft ball, thread, jam, caramel, sterilising and deep fry.
