  • Description

Versatile stainless steel frying pan that heats quickly and evenly (no hot spots!), with three layers of high-quality metal all around the pan and a comfortable handle. It can go in the oven and is induction-compatible.

---DETAILS--- All-Clad pioneered multi-ply cookware in the 1970s with the d3 (also called TriPly) series, when they layered aluminium—an excellent conductor of heat—with stainless steel, which is excellent at being non-reactive, oven-safe, induction hob-compatible, and extremely durable. This frying pan feels light to lift but is sturdy and warp-resistant, with a comfortable handle that moulds to an underhanded grip and stays cool on the hob. It has a curved rim for drip-free pouring. The stainless steel is polished on the outside for a mirror finish and brushed on the inside. Dishwasher use is not recommended.

Read our (essential) guide on how to cook with, and care for, stainless steel here.

---BENEFITS---

‘These All-Clad pans guide your cooking. For example, if you’re cooking a fillet of salmon and try to turn it, but it won’t release easily, you know it is not ready yet and needs more time on the heat before you flip it. When it *is* ready, it will turn over neatly, with a beautiful sear.’
